St. Stans Students Give Back As We Enter The Season of Giving

Every day, SSKCA students strive to build community and be leaders. In the season of giving, this spirit takes on new meaning. After a successful fundraiser for Puerto Rico, the students are taking on new challenges.

As November is National Alzheimer’s Disease Awareness and Caregiver’s Month, the students will have an optional dress down day on November 21st to raise funds for Alzheimer’s research.

The students will also be collecting for Thanksgiving baskets which will be shared with local food pantries. Students are asked to bring in the following items to ensure a variety:

  • PK-3 pasta G
  • K instant potatoes
  • Gr. 1 coffee/tea
  • Gr. 2 powdered milk
  • Gr. 3 Stove Top stuffing
  • Gr. 4 rice
  • Gr. 5 canned fruit/cranberry sauce
  • Gr. 6 canned beans/pasta sauce
  • Gr. 7 canned vegetable
  • Gr. 8 canned soup

The Winter Coat Drive sponsored by Girl Scout Tr00p 2832 will begin on November 17th. New and gently used coats will be collected in bins in the front lobby of St. Stans.
