St. Stan’s Transportation Company (SSTC) is pleased to offer morning pickup and afternoon drop-off service in Long Island City and Williamsburg.
OUR BUS
- The Bus is a late model Chevrolet with climate control. It can comfortably seat up to 30 children.
- Star Safeguard 5-point harness booster seats are used for all children under 65 lbs.
- A matron is on the bus at all times to ensure safe travels for each child.
- Driver is fully licensed by DMV and complies with all drug-testing protocols.
- Driver and matron are employed by the Academy and are Virtus trained.
- Pickup Authorizations must be completed; including photos of all caregivers permitted to pick-up child.
- A "What's App" Group for parents and caregivers is available with real time updates and bus location tracking.
SCHEDULE
Each day SSKCA is in full session, the SSTC bus operates a daily schedule with one pickup run in the morning to Long Island City and Williamsburg and three afterschool runs. First afterschool departure is at dismissal (approx: 2:50pm); second, at 4:15pm following sports and club activities and the last departing SSKCA at 5.15pm. Each year, we create an efficient and convenient bus route, depending on the location of ridership. Students may take a different departure time each day depending on afterschool activities.
Current Stops in Long Island City are: 11th Street & Jackson Ave; Jackson & Thomson Aves; 11th Street & 47th Avenue; Hunters Point Library. In Williamsburg: One Northside Piers
FEES
The cost of the bus service is $3,500 for the first student and $2,750 (20% discount) for a sibling for the school year. Payments are invoiced in 5 equal installments on September 1st, November 1st, January 1st, March 1st and May 1st.
